Privacy Policy
CalculateIt ("we", "our", "the site") respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect, why, and how to contact us about it. Plain English, no dark patterns.
1. What we collect
CalculateIt is a static, client-side calculator hub. We do not require accounts, and we do not store calculator inputs on a server. Numbers you type into a calculator are processed in your browser and discarded when you close the tab.
2. Server logs
Our hosting provider records standard request logs (IP address, user-agent, requested URL, timestamp) for the sole purpose of operating and securing the website. These logs are retained briefly and are not used to build advertising profiles.
3. Cookies and storage
CalculateIt does not set tracking cookies. We may use a small amount of local storage in your browser to remember user-interface preferences (such as a recently-used state). You can clear it at any time from your browser settings.
4. Third-party services
We load web fonts from Google Fonts, which involves a request to Google's servers. No analytics, ad networks, or behavioural trackers are embedded.
5. The contact form
The form on our Contact page opens your local email client with a pre-filled message addressed to the site owner. No data is transmitted to CalculateIt's servers when you submit the form.
6. Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
7. Your choices
Because we do not maintain user accounts or behavioural records, there is little personal data to access, correct or delete. If you have written to us by email, you may request that we delete that correspondence at any time.
8. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
